Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, the person who saved Pakistan by making us Atomic Nuclear Bomb holders, died at the age of 85 and was laid to rest in Islamabad.
Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, a renowned scientist and national idol of Pakistan died at age 85 due to lung problems. He was admitted to a local hospital because of lungs problems on the same day of his death. Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan lungs problems get worsened while in the hospital, and he died on the early morning of Sunday, ten Oct 2021. According to his doctors, he died because his lungs collapsed. In August, he was also admitted to a military hospital because of contraction of covid-19, later from which he was recovered.
Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan was given a state funeral at Faisal Mosque. Many people, including cabinet members, parliamentarians, and military officers, attended his funeral prayers. Prof Dr. Ahmed Al Ghazali led his funeral prayers in Faisal Mosque at 3:30 pm. Two graves were prepared for him, one at Faisal Mosque other at the H-8 graveyard. Later Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan family decided to bury him at H-8 Graveyard Islamabad.

Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, did not attend his funeral but remarked on his death through a tweet
“Deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. A Q Khan. Our nation loved him because of his political contribution in making us a nuclear weapon state. This has provided us security against an aggressive much larger nuclear neighbor. For the people of Pakistan, he was a national icon,”
Also, the President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, did not attend the father of the atomic bomb’s funeral but Convery his demise through a tweet.
“Deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan. Had known him personally since 1982. He helped us develop nation-saving nuclear deterrence, and a grateful nation will never forget his services in this regard. May Allah Bless him,”
Many Important personalities and ministers of Pakistan expressed their sorrows through Twitter, i.e., Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Sheikh Rasheed, Shahbaz Sharif, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar, Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood, Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry and many more.
Maulana Tariq Jameel, the renowned Islamic scholar of Pakistan, also prayed for Dr. Abdul Qadeer khan Soul.

Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan was born on April 1, 1936, in Bhopal, India. He was a prominent Pakistani nuclear scientist. Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan is the “Father of Nuclear Bomb,” He made the first Muslim Nuclear bomb right after India’s atomic bomb tests.
This step strengthened Pakistan’s position in the region and saved it from any war expected from India. Dr. Abdul Qadeer khan slapped India by successful tests of nuclear bombs held in 1998.
He was also accused of illegally sharing nuclear technology secrets with Iran, Libya, and North Korea. Later of which he confessed it on national TV. Then-president Pervaiz Musharraf forgave him, but he was under house arrest for years.
The national court concluded his home arrest in 2009, but he was always under guarded every time he left his house. He was also diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2006, later from which he recovered.
Father of Nuclear bomb has received three presidential awards for his services, i.e., Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Order of Excellence) twice and the Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Crescent of Excellence) once. Makaan Solutions team is very saddened upon death of our national hero and idol. May he rest in peace!!
