After interchange approval, it is going to relocate to motorway points 332 and 333 near Mandal bridge. All the blocks like executive 2, overseas 2, and executive 1 (except B and C block) will be relocated. Old Capital smart City interchange was a few km away from the Thalian interchange.
For now, the capital smart city new master plan, and street layout in a new location have not been done but a few security rooms have been developed which proves that it has been acquired by Capital smart city. The pictures below show that developments have been done vigorously. The picture on the left side is 2 months old while the one on the right side photo is the latest.

When you travel from Islamabad to Lahore on a motorway, land surrounded by roads for 3.5 to 4 km is the new location acquired by Capital smart city. This new location is for executive 2, overseas 2, and executive 1 (except for B and C blocks).
Owners of balloted plots were concerned that why there is no development in these blocks, but it’s now clear that all this was because of the relocation of the interchange. Map of already balloted plots in executive district 1 will revise. Balloted numbers will be the same, but the location will change to the motorway points 332 and 333.
Good news for the owners of these balloted plots because the resale market is quite active. After the relocation of the interchange, this resale market is very interested to buy these plots because the new location is happened to be in a most commercial place.
2 Access points to the new Capital smart City Location
Two access points to this new location are also getting ready, one from the interchange which will be revealed by Capital smart city management, and 2nd when you enter the overseas prime road from Chakri road. The initial main road has carpeted width of 180 ft out of a total of 300 ft, which connects with the executive block. According to Capital Smart City New Master Plan, Both access points will be ready within the next two years.
These two access points must be completed in 2 years, as the government has given two years to complete the new interchange. After the official announcement of the new location by Capital smart city, the map will be revised.
